What is a legacy gift?
A Legacy Gift (or Planned Gift) is a donation designated to a charitable organization at a future date. The most common way to leave a legacy gift is to make a bequest – leaving a gift in your will. Other planned giving options include: gift of securities, gift of life insurance, gift of RRSPs/RRIFs, or an endowment fund.
