This year marked the 8th annual Fork It Over event held in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Edmonton Mayfield. This event proved to be the most successful to date raising over $85,000.00. Held once again at the Delta Edmonton South, over 450 people attended this event in support of Sorrentino's Compassion House and the many charities the Rotary Club of Edmonton Mayfield have supported and continue to support each year. The event was hosted once again by Lynda Steele of Global Edmonton and auction items were presented by Danny Hooper; both whom added class, excitement, and an evening to remember! Thank you! We would also like to thank our guests for their support, the volunteers who help make the evening a complete success. Also to the community for their outstanding support of the hundreds of silent and live auction items that are donated each and every year to this fantastic event! We would also like to recognize and thank our event sponsors for their outstanding contribution to Fork It Over. This event would not be possible without the Steering Committee for Fork It Over 2008. Warm kudos to the entire committee for your endless hours of work, planning, commitment and passion towards this wonderful event!
